The Waterlane Concept was created in 2008. The idea behind the Concept is to combine prime locations with state of the art architectural design, for the benefit of the owners of the apartments, being investors or residents. All Waterlane developments – completed, under construction and future, are located in Gdansk.
Prime locations are chosen carefully to serve the different purposes of the developments, being residential – designated for buyers who are using the apartments as their main residence or second home, commercial – used for short term lease, or combined.
State of the art architecture is mandatory to match the design with the location and the future use of the apartments. The buildings and the apartments are well-thought-over – to the details, and they are functional and comfortable.
All Waterlane developments are gated and secured, offering a package of amenities which vary from one development to another, including indoor swimming pool, saunas, a gym and concierge services.
The first Waterlane development, overlooking the Gdansk marina and the Granary Island, which was completed in 2012, was a residential development. Some of the apartments are used for living and some were bought as an investment and are being used for short term lease.
Waterlane Island, the second Waterlane development located on the south part of the Granary Island, is a mixed use development and was completed in 2019. Most of the apartments were bought by investors who will lease the apartments on short term basis.
Waterlane Vintage, the third in line, located between Old Town and Young City, to be completed in 4Q20, is a commercial development. All buyers are investors who will lease the apartments on short term basis. It is worth adding that in 2020, the conservator of monuments granted it the status of a historic building.
Waterlane Oak and Waterlane Corner will be the next Waterlane developments. Located in Brzezno, Waterlane Oak will be residential development designed as row houses. Waterlane Corner, located next to Waterlane Vintage, will be a mixed use development, similar to the first Waterlane development.
